BIOGRAPHY
Derelicts formed in 2014 in Lille, France, uniting musicians from the local progressive rock and extreme metal scenes. In 2016, the band released a self-produced debut EP blending sludge, progressive elements and death metal, followed by a series of live performances in 2017.
From 2018 onward, the band focused on studio work, spending years writing and producing seven singles influenced by melodic and progressive death metal, cinematic aesthetics and modern existential themes.
In 2025, the quintet returned to the stage, delivering powerful and immersive live performances supported by a restructured lineup and a fully integrated live production team.
Driven by metaphorical storytelling, the band draws from themes of human perception, Lovecraftian imagery and childhood memories.
In spring 2026, Derelicts released a limited-edition digipack compilation gathering all singles from 2018 to 2025.
With its musical direction now firmly defined, Derelicts continues to hit the stage while working on new material.

Ivan Penkuhn | Bass & Vocals
One of the founding members of the band, he crafts intricate bass lines. On stage, he delivers a confident and commanding presence.
Pierre Croce | Drums
He is the steady force of the band, a true enthusiast of progressive music whose experience from previous projects and highly controlled drumming bring both precision and power to Derelicts.
Simon Duthilleul | Guitars
As the band’s founding member, principal songwriter, producer and sound designer, he draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of modern music.
Martin Limoges | Guitars
Having dedicated half his life to playing guitar from home to stage, he is a true metal enthusiast who loves crafting riffs and pushing both his brain and fingers to their limits.
