Derelicts est un collectif de death metal progressif formé en 2016. Le groupe a débuté avec un EP brut et introspectif, avant d’évoluer vers un projet centré sur le travail en studio, enrichissant son univers d’influences telles qu’Opeth, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity et Septicflesh — tout en intégrant des sonorités modernes inspirées de la scène australienne. Cette évolution s’est accompagnée de l’arrivée de nouveaux membres, renforçant la dynamique créative du projet.

Après plusieurs années de travail en studio, Derelicts revient sur scène avec une énergie renouvelée. À travers des compositions libératrices, le groupe explore les traumatismes de l’enfance et leur résonance à l’âge adulte, transformant la douleur en résilience.

Porté par six musiciens — dont deux chanteuses — et une équipe technique dévouée, Derelicts offre une expérience live puissante et immersive. Bien plus qu’un simple projet musical, c’est un collectif engagé, convaincu que l’art peut être une force de guérison.

Derelicts is a progressive death metal collective formed in 2016. The band started with a raw, introspective EP and evolved into a studio-focused project, enriching its sound with influences from Opeth, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity, and Septicflesh — while also incorporating modern touches inspired by the Australian scene. This evolution was accompanied by new members, strengthening the dynamic of the project.

After several years of studio work, Derelicts has returned to the stage with renewed energy. Through liberating compositions, the band explores childhood traumas and their resonance in adulthood, transforming pain into resilience.

Driven by six musicians — including two female vocalists — and a dedicated technical team, Derelicts delivers a powerful and immersive live experience. More than just a musical project, it’s a committed collective, convinced that art can be a force for healing.

Marion | Vocals
She joined the band as a vocalist in 2024. With a professional background rooted in the arts, she oversees the artistic direction of the project.

Charlotte | Vocals
Charlotte officially joined the band as a lead singer in 2024. Electrifying stage presence, she draws inspiration from major figures in black metal and modern metal scene.

Simon | Guitars
True enthusiast of modern music, Simon is a founding member of Derelicts. As the band’s composer, arranger, producer, he is responsible for most of the songs.

Ivan | Bass
Bassist of the band since its inception, he is one of the founding members. Highly comfortable on stage, he also handles a significant part of the backing vocals.

Clément | Guitars
Joining the band in 2022, he brings fresh influences to the group. As a modern metal enthusiast, he has helped shape a new era for the band with pitch-shifters and 7-string guitars.

Pierre | Drums
Joining as the band’s drummer in 2023, Pierre is the steady force of the group. He’s a fan of progressive music and draws from his diverse musical background to enrich the band’s sound.

Paul | Technic / Light
He is responsible for programming the band’s light show, managing the system architecture, and designing technical solutions to meet the group’s needs.

Hugo | Orchestrations
As a professional composer and arranger, he enhances the band’s orchestral universe with his unique touch and expertise.

Alex Orta | Mix / Mastering
As a sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist, Alex has mixed and mastered many of Derelicts’ tracks.
