Derelicts est un collectif de death metal progressif fondé en 2016. Né d’un premier EP brut et introspectif, le projet a rapidement évolué vers une démarche centrée sur le travail en studio, enrichissant son univers d’influences telles qu’Opeth, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity ou Septicflesh — tout en intégrant des sonorités modernes inspirées de la scène australienne. Cette évolution s’est accompagnée de l’arrivée de nouveaux membres, renforçant la cohésion et la dynamique créative du groupe.

Après plusieurs années de création en studio, Derelicts revient sur scène avec une énergie renouvelée. Porté par cinq musiciens et une équipe technique dévouée, le groupe délivre une expérience live intense et immersive.

Derelicts is a progressive death metal collective formed in 2016. Emerging from a raw and introspective debut EP, the project soon evolved into a studio-driven entity, expanding its sound with influences from Opeth, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity, and Septicflesh, while incorporating modern textures inspired by the Australian scene. This evolution was marked by the arrival of new members, further strengthening the group’s creative momentum.

After several years of studio work, Derelicts returns to the stage with renewed energy. Driven by five musicians and a dedicated technical team, the band delivers a powerful and immersive live experience.

Marion | Vocals
She joined the band as a vocalist in 2024. With a professional background rooted in the arts, she oversees the artistic direction of the project.

Simon | Guitars
True enthusiast of modern music, Simon is a founding member of Derelicts. As the band’s composer, arranger, producer, he is responsible for most of the songs.

Ivan | Bass
Bassist of the band since its inception, he is one of the founding members. Highly comfortable on stage, he also handles a significant part of the backing vocals.

Clément | Guitars
Joining the band in 2022, he brings fresh influences to the group. As a modern metal enthusiast, he has helped shape a new era for the band with pitch-shifters and 7-string guitars.

Pierre | Drums
Joining as the band’s drummer in 2023, Pierre is the steady force of the group. He’s a fan of progressive music and draws from his diverse musical background to enrich the band’s sound.

Paul | Technic / Light
He is responsible for programming the band’s light show, managing the system architecture, and designing technical solutions to meet the group’s needs.

Hugo | Orchestrations
As a professional composer and arranger, he enhances the band’s orchestral universe with his unique touch and expertise.
